Example of Using Cordy for a Dog with Mammary Tumor and Kidney Function Decline (Maltese)
Information provided by: Shiota Animal Hospital
[Mammary Tumor: Using Cordy]
Breed: Maltese
Gender: Female
Age: 9 years and 3 months
Cordy Usage Period: From March 4, 2017
On January 28, 2017, diagnosed with a suspected mammary tumor at another clinic. Blood tests showed reduced kidney function, and Kremezin (activated charcoal) administration began.
Started taking Cordy from March 4, and by the follow-up on April 22, the tumor had reduced in size.
Due to the dog’s age and decreased kidney function, no major treatments like surgery or chemotherapy were performed. The reduction in the mammary tumor is attributed to the use of Cordy.
[A Word from the Laboratory]
It’s said that 50% of mammary tumors in dogs are malignant. While the incidence can be reduced through spaying, the rate remains 26% if spaying is done after the second estrus, which is not a low number.
As dogs age, abnormalities in liver and kidney functions can make anesthesia or aggressive treatments unfeasible. Cordy can be used regardless of liver and kidney function levels.
There are cases where Cordy has supported liver and kidney functions, enabling aggressive treatments. It can be considered as an option for immune support when taking a step towards aggressive treatment is challenging.
Our laboratory is researching whether Cordy can modulate the immune system and its potential effectiveness against cancer.
